The Astra Group will handle the payment and administration related to the medical billing. The Astra Group will take the employee contribution from employee’s checks as a pre-tax deduction, and then will bill the client for the employer contribution on each invoice. Contributions and deductions will be divided between the two checks each month or taken in one deduction on the monthly checks.

If a client desires to keep their current 401(K) plan in place, The Astra Group will handle the employee contributions through payroll deductions, credit the client back and provide a report outlining the contributions that need to be made to the provider.
The Astra Group handles the administration for COBRA/State Continuation. A packet will be sent to each employee with health/dental insurance that leaves a client’s business. The Astra Group is also responsible for terminating the employee for the medical billings and managing payments if continuation is selected.
A wellness program can be established and personalized by The Astra Group for a client’s company based on desires.
The Astra Group handles the administration involved in FMLA tracking. It is the client and employee’s responsibility to contact The Astra Group if FMLA time is desired.
Cancer insurance with multiple options is available to employees upon request through The Astra Group.
Assistance with establishing a plan is available through The Astra Group.
Pet insurance is available at a discounted rate for all Astra Group clients and their employees.
